Ponds Forge's aquatic facilities are Sheffield's finest. Our swimming amenities include a 50m Olympic sized International Competition Pool and the deepest Diving Pool in Europe at an amazing 5.8m deep. We also house a lively Leisure Pool.

The Competition Pool is effectively utilised at multiple levels, accommodating local, national and international competitions.

We also house school training sessions and public lane swimming. We offer child and adult swimming lessons and facilitate a number of water based activities and clubs ranging from canoeing to scuba diving and underwater hockey (Octopush).

We hold on average 130 pool events every year and there is seating available for 2,600 spectators. The City of Sheffield Swim Squad use Ponds Forge as its training base.

The pool has two floating floors. This adjustable water depth and pool dividing mechanism provides the versatility to sufficiently serve the varying needs and requirements of all events.

It would take 11.5 million cups of tea to fill this pool!
